This Fox News talking head suggests Trump should build a northern border wall in response to the Canadian government’s approach to fighting terrorism by employing reformed extremists to prevent radicalization.

JILLIAN MELE: President Trump might want to think about a northern border wall if Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gets his way. Get this: Trudeau says he welcomes reformed terrorists back into his country. Why?

JUSTIN TRUDEAU: We know that, actually, someone who has engaged and turned away from that hateful ideology can be an extraordinarily powerful voice for preventing radicalization in future generations.

MELE: One Canadian group called Project Someone receives hundreds of thousands of dollars through federal funding to deradicalize jihadists through art and poetry.

I would point out the border wall would be welcome, but to us, as it would ensure that no lost or drunken Canadians accidentally wander south into the United States of Trump.

That said, it would also trap a lot of desperate Americans who’d be welcome to join us in the land of poutine and free healthcare. It’s a conundrum.
