Donald Trump, who is somehow the president of a country despite being unfit to run a Cinnabon, gets caught in another stupidly obvious lie:
Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!

The President is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year. TIME does not comment on our choice until publication, which is December 6.

And from Time’s Chief Content Officer, who’d know a thing or two about this:
Amazing. Not a speck of truth here—Trump tweets he 'took a pass' at being named TIME's person of the year https://t.co/D6SJgyTpcY

That Trump is a lying idiot is such old news it’s Precambrian. What I wonder about is why he can’t seem to figure out that when he lies about people on the Internet, they can prove that he is, in fact, a liar. Especially when they’re people whose profession or expertise concerns the very thing he’s lying about.
