Daily Links: 08/12/17 – TX passes “rape insurance” anti-abortion bill

Texas legislature passes a “rape insurance” bill that would force women to pay extra for abortion access, with no exemptions for sexual assault or fetal abnormalities. Gov. Greg Abbott (R-of-course) will likely sign it.

In other neo-Nazi news, they’re bizarrely obsessed with appearances. And yes, the proper reaction to them talking about being “hip” and “sexy” is to laugh.
And finally, it’s true that no-knock police raids like the one targeting Paul Manafort are rare. They’re usually reserved for people who aren’t wealthy White politicians.
