Leave it to the foreign media to speak the unvarnished truth about Trump and his impact on the US’s standing in the world. The Australian ABC’s Chris Uhlmann breaks it down:

By the way, Uhlmann is a hardline conservative – he’s no liberal snowflake. That apparently doesn’t stop him from recognizing an incompetent manchild when he sees one. If only American far-Rightists shared his skill.

The fact that the US is finally slipping in its global standing is less of a shame for those of us who’ve long believed it had little apart from its bloated military to support such a reputation in the first place. The fact that it’s caused by the utter ineptitude and buffoonery of its leadership is more troubling, because the US still has enough influence to cause major damage should Trump feel especially toddler-like one morning.
